In order to apply to the MBA of THE GLOCAL SCHOOL, users must first register in the Apply section of the website, providing the following information: name, surname(s) and email address. They must also create a password and accept the privacy policy to complete the process. THE GLOCAL SCHOOL may set additional conditions to these users. To acquire the status of "student" of the MBA the user must expressly accept the terms and conditions of THE GLOCAL SCHOOL.
The user agrees to make good use of the digital resources that THE GLOCAL SCHOOL makes available. In case of registration, the password created by the user is personal and non-transferable. Any fraudulent use of this password and the consequences thereof shall be the full responsibility of the user, and THE GLOCAL SCHOOL shall be entitled to take any legal action it deems appropriate in defense of its rights.
The user undertakes not to engage in unauthorized activities to access computer systems, both of THE GLOCAL SCHOOL and of third parties, or in unauthorized activities to access, alter or manipulate information, whether the information belongs to THE GLOCAL SCHOOL or to third parties, in accordance with the provisions of current regulations on personal data protection.
- Intellectual and industrial property
The intellectual property rights of the content of the website, its graphic design and codes are owned by THE GLOCAL SCHOOL, and therefore its reproduction, distribution, public communication, and transformation are prohibited, except for personal and private use.

The hiring of services from THE GLOCAL SCHOOL and the execution of the requested program, whose conditions will be available to the user prior to a possible hiring. In order to carry out this requested professional relationship, the user is obliged to provide his/her data.
Free, specific, informed and unequivocal consent, since after reading this privacy policy the user is informed and, if he or she agrees, can accept it by means of a clear affirmative action that involves checking the box provided for this purpose.
In the event that the interested party does not provide the aforementioned data or it is erroneous or inaccurate, we will not be able to attend your request, making it impossible to provide you with the requested information or to carry out the hiring of the services. Therefore, the person responsible for processing the data, THE GLOCAL SCHOOL, shall be exonerated from any liability that may arise from the failure to perform the professional assignment or from the consequences arising from this inaccurate or erroneous information.
- Data communication
In general, THE GLOCAL SCHOOL will not communicate this personal data to third parties, except when the provision of a service implies the need for a contractual relationship with a data processor and this is strictly necessary to manage and maintain the relationship between the user and THE GLOCAL SCHOOL. This will be done only for the time necessary to enable the execution of the contracted service, and under the same conditions and with the same responsibility required of the person responsible. Once the order has been completed, the data processor shall return the personal data to the person responsible and delete any copies he has.

The MBA will be provided in accordance with the terms and conditions detailed in this document and in its legal section. We have written our terms and conditions as simply and clearly as possible, but if you have any doubts or queries, please contact us using any of the communication channels provided. Our contact information can be easily found in the contact section of the website.
- Introduction
By enrolling in any of our programs you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, please do not use our services.
THE GLOCAL SCHOOL guarantees the student the right to access all the services contracted in the program. All these services are detailed and available to the student on the website www.theglocalschool.com.
- General rules
The student declares to know the price, duration and services of the MBA program, which can be consulted on the website of THE GLOCAL SCHOOL.
It will be understood that the student accepts the conditions here established by checking the box "I’ve read and agree to the terms and conditions" and pressing the "Accept" button.
2.1. Right of admission
THE GLOCAL SCHOOL reserves the right of admission.
The students of the MBA must be in good physical and mental health to carry out the program and any circumstance related to the student's health, such as allergies or intolerances, or any other circumstance that may pose an impediment or risk to the student and/or the rest of the participants, must be communicated to THE GLOCAL SCHOOL by sending an email to admissions@theglocalschool.com specifying in the subject: observations.
THE GLOCAL SCHOOL may request as a condition to participate in the MBA program that the student obtains a medical certificate authorizing him/her to do so before departure. This authorization or medical certificate may also be requested by THE GLOCAL SCHOOL from the student once the MBA has begun.
2.2. Express authorization for the student to be attended in case of emergency
If, during the course of the MBA program, an emergency situation arises that prevents the student from interacting with the medical personnel, because the student is unable to do so, the student expressly authorizes THE GLOCAL SCHOOL to provide the necessary care. Once partially or fully recovered, the student agrees to pay THE GLOCAL SCHOOL all expenses incurred by THE GLOCAL SCHOOL for such an emergency situation. In the case that the student does not recover, the family will have to pay THE GLOCAL SCHOOL for such expenses.
2.3. Obligation for the student to contract medical insurance
The student has the obligation to contract a medical insurance that covers the medical services that he/she may need in the country or countries where the MBA program takes place.
2.4. Recommendation for the student to contract travel insurance
THE GLOCAL SCHOOL also recommends that you contract travel insurance for loss or damage to baggage or other personal effects, cancellation, trip interruption, emergency evacuation, accidental death, injury, illness, etc. in connection with the MBA program.
2.5. Security
The MBA program takes place in different countries. By enrolling in our program as a student of THE GLOCAL SCHOOL, you agree to take responsibility for your own safety and recognize that we cannot guarantee your safety at any time or in any place.
The student is recommended to consider information about the countries where the program will take place, including local conditions in specific cities and countries such as risk of war, terrorism, conflicts, riots, public insecurity, etc. THE GLOCAL SCHOOL assumes no responsibility for collecting such information or providing it to the student.
Furthermore, the student expressly accepts the local conditions (infrastructure, services, medical care, sanitation, security, etc.) of the countries where the program is carried out, which may be very different from those in their home countries.
THE GLOCAL SCHOOL is responsible for the organization of all contracted services contained in the MBA program, with the characteristics set out on the website.
- Price
3.1. The price of the program includes
Full-time program:
- Internal flights between the two countries (tourist class).
- The transport to the different activities that are carried out.
- Accommodation—single rooms, except for Sapa.
- The co-working space where classes are held.
- Breakfast included in Indonesia and Malaysia and full board during your stay in Sapa.
- Attendance to scheduled events, whether academic or otherwise.
- Technical assistance during the MBA program.
- Educational materials and contents for the realization of the MBA program.
- Access to the e-learning platform.
- Coaching (6 sessions per student).
- 3 epic experiences with lunch included.
- 6 dinners or group socials.
Part-time program:
- The transport to the different activities that are carried out.
- Accommodation—single rooms.
- The co-working space where classes are held.
- Breakfast.
- Attendance to scheduled events, whether academic or otherwise.
- Technical assistance during the MBA program.
- Educational materials and contents for the realization of the MBA program.
- Access to the e-learning platform.
- Coaching (6 sessions per student).
- 3 epic experiences with lunch included.
- 6 dinners or group socials.
3.2. The price of the program does NOT include
- Transport costs to the place where the MBA program begins, and transport costs to return to the student's country of origin.
- Visas, airport taxes, and/or entry and exit taxes, certificates and vaccination expenses, drinks, laundry and ironing expenses, and, in general, any other service not expressly included in the section "The price of the program includes" or not specifically detailed on the website or in the documentation given to the student when signing up.
- Events, trips, or optional visits not included in the program.
- Health and travel insurance.
- Medical expenses, telephone costs, costs of repatriation in the event of illness, accident or death, and personal costs not listed in the section "The price of the program includes" or not specifically detailed on the website.
- Terms and means of payment. Registration and refunds
4.1. Terms of payment
The price of the MBA is shown on the website, and covers registration, miscellaneous expenses (transport, accommodation, etc.), and educational training.
4.2. Reservation fee
If your application has been accepted, you will have to pay a reservation fee to confirm your participation in the program. This payment will be 10% of the total amount of the MBA program. THE GLOCAL SCHOOL will issue a receipt specifying the program requested, in addition to the amount paid by the student.
This amount is non-refundable since it covers the expenses incurred by THE GLOCAL SCHOOL, such as the cancellation of air tickets or airline penalties, plus 100% of the costs of on-site services, such as accommodation, travel, activities, or penalties incurred by the third party providers of such services.
4.3. Remaining amount
The remaining amount is to be paid divided into two payments:
- 60% 90 natural days before the program start date.
- 40% 60 natural days before the program start date.
4.4. Means of payment
The student must pay the reservation fee corresponding to the chosen MBA program by means of a transfer to the bank account provided by THE GLOCAL SCHOOL. The remaining amount is paid by means of direct debit, for which the student must fill in the corresponding authorization form. The costs associated with international transfers will not be assumed by THE GLOCAL SCHOOL. In exceptional cases THE GLOCAL SCHOOL will facilitate payment in cash at the beginning of the program, or if the student is accepted to the program after the payment deadlines defined in this clause, THE GLOCAL SCHOOL will define with the student the new payment conditions.
4.5. Consequences of the non-payment of the program price
If the total price of the MBA program is not paid in accordance with the conditions indicated, it will be understood that the student withdraws from the program requested.
Failure to comply with the agreed payment deadlines will result in an increase of 2.5% on the amount not paid on time, in addition to the costs of returned receipts and charges to unfunded accounts. THE GLOCAL SCHOOL reserves the right to cancel a student's registration if payments are not made on the agreed dates, without foregoing the right to claim any outstanding amounts.
THE GLOCAL SCHOOL does not have funding options with financial entities, but in the event that the student is interested in financing his or her MBA, the processing of the credit or financing formula will be carried out directly between the student and the financial entity.
- Legitimacy for data processing
5.1. Cancellation policy and abandonment of the program once started
If THE GLOCAL SCHOOL decides to cancel all or part of the MBA because the minimum number of students for the program to be financially viable is not reached, it will refund the student all the amounts received or the amount corresponding to the cancelled part.
THE GLOCAL SCHOOL will not refund any amount to the student for modifications in the MBA and cancellations of part of its content as long as they are replaced by equivalent services. THE GLOCAL SCHOOL is committed to informing the student of any substantial changes that could have an impact on the course of the program. In any case, THE GLOCAL SCHOOL will have a period of 30 natural days to resolve any possible incidents or complaints submitted by the student. The decision on the incident or complaint made by THE GLOCAL SCHOOL will be binding on the student, who will not be able to make any claim.
The student may cancel the services contracted before the start of the program by notifying THE GLOCAL SCHOOL by email, which will keep the amounts listed below as penalties:
- If the cancellation occurs on or before 30 natural days of the start date of the program, the amount to be compensated will be 100% of the total price of the MBA, with the exception of the reservation fee, which is non-refundable.
- If the cancellation occurs 16 to 30 natural days before the start date of the program, the amount to be compensated will be 50% of the total price of the MBA, with the exception of the reservation fee, which is non-refundable.
- If the cancellation occurs within 15 natural days before the start date of the program, there will be no compensation.
- If the student does not show up to the program, for unjustified reasons, he/she will not be entitled to any refund of the amount paid, unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
- If the student, once the program has begun, decides to notify THE GLOCAL SCHOOL of his/her withdrawal from the program, he/she will not be entitled to any refund of the amount paid, unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
The student agrees that THE GLOCAL SCHOOL will refund the corresponding amount within 10 natural days, compensating the penalties with the amounts paid and returning the difference to the student. To do so, the student must indicate an account number along with his or her request to cancel.
If the settlement is negative, the student agrees to pay the difference to THE GLOCAL SCHOOL within 10 natural days of the notification by THE GLOCAL SCHOOL.
5.2. Termination and/or cancellation due to force majeure
In the event that THE GLOCAL SCHOOL cancels the program before its start due to force majeure, it will refund the student the full amount received. In the event that THE GLOCAL SCHOOL cancels the program once it has started, it will refund the student the amount corresponding to the cancelled part. In no case will the reservation fee be refunded, although THE GLOCAL SCHOOL may reserve it for a later program.
If the student confirms his/her cancellation before the start of the program and this is due to force majeure or any other extraordinary event, THE GLOCAL SCHOOL will refund the student the full amount received, with the exception of the reservation fee, which is non-refundable. In the event that the student withdraws from the program due to force majeure once it has begun, THE GLOCAL SCHOOL will refund the student the amount corresponding to the cancelled part, taking as a reference the date on which the request for withdrawal occurs, with the exception of the reservation fee, which is non-refundable and discounting the cancellation costs imposed by the various third party providers for the cancellation of any outstanding services.
Force majeure shall be understood as any abnormal and unforeseeable circumstance beyond the student's control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided, despite having acted with due diligence, such as illness, serious accident or death of the student, a relative of the student up to the second degree, legal summons, serious complications in pregnancy or miscarriage, or other similar circumstances. The student must justify the cancellation through documentation that proves the reality of any of the events indicated above.
Force majeure shall also be considered to be events qualified by the Public Authority as national catastrophe or calamity; official declaration of a state of alarm and/or emergency; war; pandemic; any natural phenomenon such as earthquakes, tsunamis, extraordinary floods, volcanic eruptions, atypical hurricane storms, falls of steel bodies and aeroliths; acts violently caused by terrorism, rebellion, sedition, mutiny and popular tumult and actions of the Armed Forces or Security Forces in times of peace, etc.
5.3. Waivers
The student, with the acceptance of the terms and conditions, waives to receive any financial compensation for loss of earnings, consequential damage, moral damage or any indirect damage, from THE GLOCAL SCHOOL as a result of a withdrawal, abandonment of the program, cancellation due to force majeure or total or partial cancellation of the program by THE GLOCAL SCHOOL.
THE GLOCAL SCHOOL shall not be liable under any circumstances for the defective provision of services provided by third parties (such as flight cancellations, delays, loss of luggage, etc.). In this case, the student expressly waives any action against THE GLOCAL SCHOOL.
- Conditions of the program
6.1. Program structure
With the acceptance of these terms and conditions the student declares to know the structure, composition and particularities of the MBA program, which are set out on the website.
THE GLOCAL SCHOOL reserves the right to make, at any time and without prior notice, the modifications it considers appropriate, and may update programs, products and services according to the market or academic needs. In any case, these modifications will mean improvements for the student and never a decrease in the contracted contents.
6.2. Teachers
The MBA program will be developed under the criteria of teachers with qualifications in the subjects to be taught and/or professional experience in the corresponding subjects. The programming and contents of the MBA program, and the tests and exercises to be conducted, are carried out in accordance with teaching and pedagogical criteria. THE GLOCAL SCHOOL may replace teachers when necessary and without prior notice, guaranteeing the professional qualification of the new teacher assigned in accordance with the provisions of this clause.
6.3. Academic clarifications
For questions related to doubts or clarifications about the contents of the MBA program, THE GLOCAL SCHOOL will provide the student with Q&A sessions to solve them.
6.4. Program language
The program will be taught in English, therefore, students must have a sufficient level of English to be able to complete it. THE GLOCAL SCHOOL is not responsible for the lack of understanding of some of the contents taught due to lack of language skills.
6.5. Customer services
For non-academic issues, the student may contact our customer services by writing an email to MBA@theglocalschool.com or contacting the program director that is present during the MBA program.
6.6. Evaluation
Students have the right to be objectively evaluated in their performance, in accordance with the general criteria established by their teachers.
The evaluation criteria will be communicated to the student at the beginning of the program.
6.7. Code of ethics
Communications with other students, teachers, speakers, third party providers and administrators will be conducted in respectful, non-offensive language. THE GLOCAL SCHOOL may remove any information shared by the student that is not appropriate to the content and purpose of the program.
Relationships within the community of THE GLOCAL SCHOOL are governed by the following code of ethics:
THE GLOCAL SCHOOL’s code of ethics establishes a set of guiding principles that guide the conduct of its members, including all its employees, teaching staff, students and third parties who collaborate with the school in the development of its activity.
The values that make up this ethical code must be known and applied to ensure professional conduct, promote social responsibility, good practices, transparency, efficiency and effectiveness to generate the highest level of trust and improve the coexistence.

The steering committee of THE GLOCAL SCHOOL guarantees the dissemination of this ethical code to all the members of its community for their knowledge and application.
Please, if you do not agree with the code of ethics we ask you not to use our services. By accepting the terms and conditions, the student agrees to abide by the code of ethics.
6.8. Expelling of students
THE GLOCAL SCHOOL reserves the right to expel a student for inappropriate behavior (physical or verbal assault on classmates; teachers or other program or service providers; creating a poor working environment in the classroom; low voluntary performance; engaging in activities considered illegal under the laws of the country where the MBA program is taking place: drug use, etc.). In this case, the student will not be refunded any amount.
6.9. Documents needed for the start of the program
Before the start of the program, the student will receive all the necessary material, including their access codes or indications for the start of the program.
6.10. Duration
The student has the right to use the services provided by the MBA for the duration of the program. In addition, THE GLOCAL SCHOOL may make available to the student a series of related services once the program has been completed.
6.11. Accreditation certificate
Once the MBA has been completed, THE GLOCAL SCHOOL will award the student a certificate that has no official academic validity.
The student must complete the entire program to obtain the certificate.
It will be exclusively up to the country in which the certificate is to be validated, according to its regulations applicable at any given time, to determine which certificates may be homologated, validated or recognized in its country, exempting THE GLOCAL SCHOOL at all times from any responsibility arising from such homologation, validation and recognition of certificates both in the present, and in the application for homologation, validation and recognition of future certificates.
- Express authorization on image rights
The student expressly authorizes THE GLOCAL SCHOOL to use his/her image, indefinitely and without territorial limitation, to create graphic content or audiovisual content (printed information brochures or in any digital format) and to publish them on the website of THE GLOCAL SCHOOL, on its social network profiles and/or on audiovisual platform channels, for the sole purpose of promoting THE GLOCAL SCHOOL’s programs. This authorization is limited to the use of the student's image in the context of his/her participation in the program taught by THE GLOCAL SCHOOL, with the express exception and limitation of those uses or applications that could infringe the right to honor under the terms of Organic Law 1/1982, of 5 May, on civil protection of the right to honor, personal and family privacy and one's own image. The authorization implied in these terms and conditions may be revoked at any time, with the exception of campaigns which are underway, in which case they must be terminated for the revocation to take effect. Such revocation of consent may never be retroactive.
- Intellectual property
All the works, contents and services of the virtual campus composed of various integrated and inseparable elements are the property of THE GLOCAL SCHOOL.
The student does not acquire any right, title or ownership to our Services with the sole exception of the limited rights of use granted in these terms and conditions.
The total or partial reproduction of the contents published by THE GLOCAL SCHOOL is prohibited. The intellectual property rights of the content of the virtual campus, its graphic design and codes are owned by THE GLOCAL SCHOOL, and therefore their reproduction, distribution, public communication and transformation is prohibited, except for personal and private use.
In addition, it is prohibited to reproduce, transmit, distribute, publicly display or create derivative works from information or material contained in the study support documents, except for personal and private use. It is also prohibited to use any method to disclose or duplicate the educational or technological methodology for any purpose other than personal and private use.
Any use of them contrary to the rules on intellectual property will be prosecuted under existing legislation.
THE GLOCAL SCHOOL reserves the right to publish the exercises, case studies, etc. elaborated by the students in the course of their studies. In any case, the intellectual content of these will be the property of the student and can only be used by THE GLOCAL SCHOOL as examples for future editions or publications in the media and always making reference to the authorship of the same.
- Non-compete
The student, by virtue of participating in any program of THE GLOCAL SCHOOL, may not, while he/she is on the program and for a period of one year from the completion of the program at THE GLOCAL SCHOOL:
- Engage in any business similar to that offered by THE GLOCAL SCHOOL (whether on the participant’s own account or through a third party that the participant is involved with).
- Try to entice away from THE GLOCAL SCHOOL, employ or otherwise engage anyone who is a shareholder or an employee of THE GLOCAL SCHOOL.
- Partial nullity
If one or more of the provisions of these terms and conditions is declared null and void or invalid by virtue of a law, regulation or final decision of a court, the other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
- Modification of clauses
THE GLOCAL SCHOOL may update one or more of these clauses. In any case the relationship with the student will be governed by the conditions accepted at the time of contracting the service. In the case that the student signs several terms and conditions he will always be governed by those signed last.
In the event that, before the start of the program, THE GLOCAL SCHOOL is forced to significantly modify any essential element of the terms and conditions, it must immediately inform the student via email, 15 natural days in advance.
The continued use of the service and/or the platform after the effective date of such update or new version, will be interpreted by us as consent. Failure by THE GLOCAL SCHOOL to enforce at any time any provision of these terms and conditions or any other legal document does not constitute a waiver of that provision, or any other provision of the terms and conditions.
THE GLOCAL SCHOOL will inform the students about the modification of the present clauses by email.
- Warranty and limitation of liability
We cannot guarantee that the contracted MBA program will meet your expectations.
THE GLOCAL SCHOOL organizes and negotiates travel, accommodation and scheduling conditions provided by third party providers.
Therefore, THE GLOCAL SCHOOL only acts as an organizer and is not responsible for the services provided by third party providers, neither before, during or after the program.
THE GLOCAL SCHOOL does not act as an agent or representative of the entities providing each of the services and therefore is not responsible for the quality of the products, facilities or the proper provision of these services.
THE GLOCAL SCHOOL is not responsible either individually or collectively for the acts of third parties (members, employees, managers, agents, etc.) that take place during the program, especially those related to travel, accommodation, etc.
THE GLOCAL SCHOOL is not responsible and the student expressly waives any action against such entity for the following circumstances:
- Any damage or loss of student property.
- Injury or death of the student during the program, whether caused directly or indirectly by act or omission of THE GLOCAL SCHOOL, and in any location (hotel, plane, boat, vehicle, etc.) whether operated or provided by THE GLOCAL SCHOOL or any other provider.
- Damages for loss, cancellation, delay, interruption, etc. of any service caused by third party providers, whether malicious or reckless.
- Damage caused by acts of strike, fire, war, rebellion, terrorism, epidemics, disease, quarantine, theft or any other cause beyond your control.
THE GLOCAL SCHOOL is also not liable to any student for psychological damages, for anxiety or emotional stress, mental suffering or moral damage of any kind and under any circumstances.
- Other
13.1. Notifications
Any notification that the student or THE GLOCAL SCHOOL needs to make in relation to the development and performance of these terms and conditions, of any kind, will be done by email to the email address indicated by the student or at the email address of THE GLOCAL SCHOOL.
13.2. Confidentiality
All information that the student may receive as a result of his/her relationship with THE GLOCAL SCHOOL (including, but not limited to, program material, website content, lectures, etc.), is considered confidential and may not be disclosed, transmitted or publicly communicated without prior written permission from THE GLOCAL SCHOOL.
The student is responsible for any damages caused to THE GLOCAL SCHOOL for the breach of the duty of confidentiality established here, which the student expressly accepts by participating in the program.
13.3. Law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising from or in connection with the performance or interpretation of these conditions shall be resolved in the courts of the city of Madrid.
